WiFi & Smart Controls
Control Your Sauna From Your Phone
Connect your sauna to the MyHarvia mobile app to remotely control and monitor your sauna from virtually anywhere.
Depending on your installation, the system allows you to:
-
Start and stop the sauna heater
-
Adjust sauna temperature
-
Monitor sauna status and temperature
-
Set timers and schedules
-
Control compatible sauna lighting
-
Control compatible ventilation
-
See when your sauna is ready
Xenio Touchscreen Control
A separate Harvia Xenio touchscreen control panel provides precise control of your sauna without requiring you to operate controls directly on the heater.
The compact digital panel can be conveniently installed outside or in an approved location near the sauna.
Safe Remote Operation
The WiFi system includes a sauna door sensor designed to support safe remote operation.
The system verifies the sauna's status before allowing remote heating, helping prevent the sauna from being started remotely when the door has been opened after remote operation has been enabled.
Traditional Sauna Experience
The KIP provides the classic high-heat sauna experience using heated sauna stones.
The large stone compartment retains and gradually releases heat throughout the sauna. Small amounts of water can be poured over the heated stones to produce bursts of humidity and create a traditional Finnish-style sauna experience.
Premium Harvia Construction
The Harvia KIP features durable steel construction, stainless steel heating elements, a protective stone guard, and a dual-wall design engineered for dependable sauna use.
Space-Saving Wall-Mounted Design
The heater mounts directly to the sauna wall, preserving valuable floor space while providing efficient heat distribution throughout the cabin.
UL Listed Heater
The Harvia KIP models offered for the U.S. market are UL Listed, providing recognized third-party safety certification for the heater.

Choosing the Correct Heater Size
The proper heater size depends on the interior cubic footage of your sauna, insulation, glass area, ceiling height, and overall construction.
A larger heater is not necessarily better. Proper sizing allows the sauna to heat efficiently and operate as intended.
For GeyserSteam sauna packages, we can recommend the appropriate 4.5 kW, 6 kW, or 8 kW configuration based on your sauna model.
Electrical Installation
The Harvia KIP WiFi requires a dedicated 240V electrical circuit and hardwired installation.
Electrical installation must be performed by a certified or licensed electrician.
The electrician is responsible for confirming the appropriate breaker size, conductor size, grounding, disconnects, control wiring, sensor installation, and all other electrical requirements based on the specific heater, Harvia installation instructions, and applicable electrical codes.
WiFi connectivity is required to use remote app features. Final electrical and installation requirements must be verified before installation.

FAQ
At Geyser Steam (geysersteamroom.com), we're obsessed with making spa experiences accessible! That's why the Beppu® 1 Person Indoor & Outdoor Steam Room is your ticket to ultimate relaxation. Here's why you should own one:
Luxury at Home: Forget expensive spa trips! The Beppu® transforms any space into a luxury steam room. Enjoy a deep, invigorating steam anytime, right in your home.
Versatility Unmatched: Unlike traditional saunas, the Beppu® is the ultimate game changer. Its portability lets you use it indoors, outdoors, on your patio or on your balcony, wherever you have the space.
Easy To Install: No complicated plumbing or permit is needed! The Beppu® simply plugs into a standard outlet, making setup a breeze. Plus, the easy-to-clean and mold-resistant materials ensure long-lasting enjoyment.
When comparing the Beppu® 1 Person Steam Room to a traditional sauna, several key differences stand out:
Heat and Humidity:
- Beppu® Steam Room: This one uses moist steam, with high humidity (90-100%) and temperatures reaching up to 120°F (typical steam room temperature)
- Traditional Sauna: This uses dry heat, with temperatures ranging from 150°F to 195°F - no humidity (0%)
Health Benefits:
When deciding between a Beppu® 1-person steam room and a traditional sauna for your home, understanding the health benefits is key. Here’s how they differ:
- Hydration: The Beppu® home steam room provides a high-humidity environment that promotes skin hydration and helps clear respiratory passages, ideal for those seeking a refreshing, moisturizing experience.
- Detoxification: Both steam rooms and saunas assist with detoxifying the body through sweating, but the Beppu® steam room may feel gentler due to lower heat and higher humidity.
- Stress Relief: Both options support relaxation, but the humid atmosphere of the Beppu® luxury steam room can offer a more spa-like experience.
Overall Experience:
Choosing between a Beppu® 1-person steam room and a traditional sauna for your home depends on the atmosphere you prefer. Here’s how they compare:
- Gentle vs. Intense: The Beppu® luxury steam room feels gentler and more soothing due to its lower temperature and higher moisture content, perfect for relaxation and skin hydration. A sauna provides a more intense heat, ideal for those who enjoy a robust, invigorating feel.
- Breathing Comfort: The moist air in a Beppu® at-home steam room is easier on the respiratory system, making it a great choice for individuals sensitive to dry air, unlike the harsher dry heat of a sauna.
The Beppu® 1 Person Steam Room is designed to be energy-efficient, so it doesn’t use a lot of electricity compared to other steam or sauna systems. Typically, it uses around 2-3 kW per session, depending on the length and intensity of use. For context, this is roughly equivalent to running a standard home appliance like a small space heater.
